[News][2012.06.01] Kim KyuJong Enters Training Camp “I will return without delay”
Debuted as SS501, then having solo activities, singer Kim KyuJong will be enlisted to military service in July.
Kim KyuJong posted a hand written letter on the board in his own official homepage on 01-Jun. Kim KyuJong said “I will be enlisted in July” and “I want to personally inform fans about it. Let’s meet after 2 years with an even better image”.
Agency B2M Entertainment’s representative told <Oh My Star> on 01-Jun “Hepatitis B carriers was originally exempted from the military service but the military service act was revised recently so he had to replace his service as a public service duty officer.” It is highly possible for him to defer as he was born in 1987, however he received the draft notice recently and thinks ‘don’t defer and quickly go and return’, thus respecting his personal decision.
Meanwhile, Kim KyuJong will be holding a fan meeting 'Thank U <3 ThanKYU with Triple' on 03-Jun at Main Auditorium in YeonSei University. Agency side added “Before entering training camp, Kim KyuJong will release a single which he personally participated in the writing of lyrics.”
